BACKGROUND
The long-standing Leeds institution Oporto wanted to provide a food offering to it’s band of loyal merry-makers, and The Dogging Club was born! Photography by Matt Baxter - mattbaxterphotography.co.uk

PROCESS
We knew the identity would ultimately be used as a neon sign so this became a key component when developing the branding. The neon sign was lovingly crafted by the awesome guys over at the Neon Workshop. The mark has also been adorned on totes, tee’s and a plethora of other things.

The Dogging Club was was launched with hotdog eating contest and ‘Sausagefest’ — a mock-festival of live music featuring all of the best loved sausage-based acts from around the globe! Those privileged enough to become a member of the club you will be rewarded with an exclusive keyring which grants the holder with unlimited free Hotdogs!

IMPACT
From the street, the tongue-in-cheek identity really catches people’s attention! The venue has become a hot talking point and a great place to start the night. The initiative has helped dramatically increase both afterwork and weekend trade, boosting revenue and increasing conversation and customer interaction on social media channels.

BACKGROUND
Analogue was approached by Steve Shine with a view to helping articulate his ‘personal brand proposition’ and create a brand look and feel to support his new business aspirations. Steve has had a distinguished career in the utilities sector, being Managing Director of EDF Energy from 2000 to 2003 and more recently COO of Thames Water where he was awarded an OBE for his services to the water industry in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list in 2010.

PROCESS
The Key to the success of Steve’s personal brand is being true to who he is and his known characteristics.
Through several interviews and desk research we netted down Steve’s brand essence to “Empowering Performance”.
This positive and forward thinking statement was combined with a bold, graphical icon, that encapsulates his progressive and driven nature.
Empowering performance, along with the icon take presidence over Steve’s name on all stationary, representing that it’s not who he is, it’s what he does that really matters.

IMPACT

Steve’s business cards are one of his key communication tools. The exterior has an elegant and refined appearance yet it’s vivid and electric blue core serves to echo his powerful and positive personality. As well as a producing the visual identity and stationery we provided Steve with a comprehensive brand guideline document that will allow him to easily and correctly apply his identity to all applications across all media.

BACKGROUND
As part of its developing brand extension strategy and to celebrate the Queens Jubilee year, award-winning bar group, Leelex, asked us to help with the development of a limited edition of its premium gin ‘Portobello Road 171’.
Orginal label design by Tom Kennedy.
PROCESS
PRG’s nod to history and playful nature provided a focal point for the project. The pack design portrays a picture of her majesty on the inside of the back label and comes with a quintessentially British tea towel. The souvenir tea towel features Her Royal Highness, alongside the recipe for ‘Portobello Road Street Party Punch’ – a unique concoction developed especially for those intending to raise a glass or two.
IMPACT
This extremely limited release caught the attention of premium UK retailer, Havey Nichols, who took all 500 bottles exclusively, and due to overwhelming demand it has now completely sold out.
We continue to work closely with PRG and have recently produced miniature bottled versions of their outstanding gin, supporting them with all the labelling and PR requirements.

Located in the centre of Chapel Allerton, The Hummingbird Kitchen & Bar is a place thats really setting the standards. Evolved from the former Angels Share, and brought to you by the team behind the legendary Jake’s Bar, they’ve distilled all their collective knowledge into their newest hangout, a three tiered celebration of everything they love about food, drink, fun and most importantly their little corner of Yorkshire. We handled all creative direction and worked closely with the team of fitters, fabricators and interior designers, to develop the Hummingbird’s image and brand. We also followed this through online handling both the digital design and build of their website.

The end product consisted of a fold out mailer which housed a cd and doubled up as a stylish print.
Lisn are quickly becoming leaders in synch, bespoke composition and music supervision, they are also attracting big labels such as ATM which is home to the likes of ‘Swedish House Mafia, ‘Dirty South’ and ‘Alex Metric’.
